HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

The cost to recover data from Android phones depends on the make, model and damage to the phone. Most phone recoveries cost between $299 and $999 for our Standard 5-9 day recovery service. Physically damaged phones that require chip off work or circuit board repair usually cost between $599 and $999. If chip off work or circuit board repair is NOT required the price will generally cost between $299 and $599.

CAN YOU RECOVER DELETED DATA FROM MY PHONE?

The quick answer is yes but in most cases it's not possible because the data gets overwritten very quickly on phones. The key to successfully recovering deleted data from your Android phone is to stop using the phone and get us involved immediately after the deletion takes place. Data that has been deleted becomes overwritten very quickly on phones that are actively being used. Once data has been overwritten on your phone, it's impossible to recover it.

So, if you have deleted data and you hope to recover it, these are the rules! Turn off the phone immediately or put it in airplane mode. You must STOP receiving calls and text messages and you can't take any more pictures or surf the Internet. All of these actions write data to your phones memory chip and will very quickly overwrite the deleted data making it impossible to recover.

WHAT TYPES OF PHONES CAN YOU RECOVER DATA FROM?

Virtually all broken and water damaged Android phones can be recovered unless the chip that stores the data on Android 5.0 phones or lower has been destroyed or the circuit board is damaged beyond repair on Android 6.0 or higher phones. For deleted data or factory reset phones it's a little more complicated. It really depends on if the data has been overwritten or not. Data that has been overwritten can't be recovered.

WHICH PHONES CAN BE RECOVERED VIA CHIP OFF PROCEDURES?

Virtually all Legacy Android phones that shipped with Android 5.0 can be recovered via chip off work. This includes: Samsung Galaxy S6, S5, S4, S3, Note 5, Note 4, Note 3, Note 2, LG G3, LG G4, LG G3, LG V10, Moto X 1st Gen, Moto G and other phones made before 2016.

WHICH PHONES CAN'T BE RECOVERED VIA CHIP OFF PROCEDURES AND WHY?

Newer phones starting in 2016 with the Samsung S7 started using low level encryption to encrypt the data stored on the phones data chip for security reasons. At this point there is no solution to decrypt that data once the chip has been removed from the phone. This includes Samsung S7, S8, S9, LG G5, V20, V30 and any other phones that were shipped with Android 6.0 or higher. For these phones we have to repair the logic board of the phone in order to complete the recovery of your data. This process can be very time consuming and tedious.
